Having participated in many partial gender change operations on various domestic animals in my cowboy life I can state that such an operation would prove beneficial on a goat RTW attempt.
The operation would allow the goat to concentrate on eating and cud chewing and prevent aggressive behavior toward other goats that may be encountered during the race. We can all see that there is going to be a great number of entrants in this Last Great Sailing Challenge. The seas will be crowded with combative goats due to the popularity of this race.
It is also rumored that some competitors are going to crew their boats with unclothed nubile nannies! This could prove very distracting to a virile Billy that was left intact.
All participants and sponsors are invited to Texas for a traditional barbeque at the conclusion of the race. As a matter of fact I think that the race should start and finish at the Texas coast. Texas has always been at the cutting edge of this sort of thing.
This race is a fine idea. I am sorry that DOJ thought of it first. It kind of gets my goat that I did not suggest it first.

MASTitis
Just another reason not to put goats on sailboats.
As you know I have formed a foundation to stop goats from sailing.
We are currently studying the effect of goats being near a mast early studies show that a higher incident of mastitis does occur when goats are placed before the mast.
Although opposed to this venture If it were to happen
I think a chia boat would be most suited
Please someone intervene!

Breaking the Species Barrier
Dogs and Chimps have successfully circumnavigated solo - well, orbited, which is pretty much the same thing. Despite these pioneering efforts, we continue to dismiss the capabilities of other species.
When it comes to sailing achievements, other species were also pioneers. Sure, Noah built the Ark, but just how good a sailor was he? Wasn’t the Ark mostly crewed by non-humans? Wasn’t it the doves rather than Noah who finally found land? Clearly, the blind focus on purely human sailing exploits is unwarranted and misleading.
This could easily be demonstrated with a vessel named: "Noahless Ark."
Nuff said.

Portuguese man o war sailed around the world in 1987. He had no sponsors or fanfare. After cicumnavigating, he just sailed into port in the humble quiet of the night. For him it was about the open ocean and stary skies, wonder what he is doing now?

This thread is full of some of the worst puns I have ever heard. The animal should be fine unless you are goading him along. Oops, weak smile.

What's a LOGO VEAT? Oh, don't forget to plaster your kid's grinning mug on those T-shhirts.
