I leave for the weekend, and when I come back the goat suddenly has oversized balls and udders. The goat may be overqualified for this voyage.

No, it's actually a well-thought-out plan to become not only the youngest Billy to circumnavigate, but the youngest Nanny, as well.

Clever as ever that goat. Those long nights alone at sea, well, nevermind.
Cohesive teamwork is essential on a project like this, so I want to cause no trouble or give any sign of editorial preference whatsoever when I mention the subject of whether Our Goat will be sailing on a Real Boat or a multi-hull? One pink hull for one set of sponsers and then a blue hull (once a month the goat may just need to get some distance from itself) for a different set, could have some advantages.
Does the goat intend to blog its way around the world? I know I look forward to the Goatfuzzle threads...

True.
I thought about adding a story this morning of the goat's boat being found sailing past the Azores with all sail's set and no one aboard, thus spawning a huge air/sea rescue operation, only to find the goat sleeping peacefully in Old Jersey's attic, but then I reasoned the rest of the world's press can't be as moronic as in the USofA has become.

Dear D.O.J.,
I saw the trailer for The Men Who Stare at Goats, and I'm kind of having second thoughts about the circumnavigation thing:

I think I need to lower my profile.
Call me.
Sincerely,
The Goat

Race update: Saltimander packs it in! Rudy....
Roughs seas approaching OZ have caused Saltimander's attempt to end in a premature conclusion. After capsizing and swimming ashore, Mr. Mander, ever the optimist, stated: "what could be better, were heading into the summer season down under and there are some slick Ms. Manders down here!" Non-plussed, Rudy carried on.... nose to the wind...... stating "some goat stew would be good right now.."

I'm still going to vote for the goat and not for FAIL or SUCCEED. I dislike the current usage of these words as verbs. My problem, you may all stand at ease.

I saw the ad for "Men who look at Goats" last night. Would that include many in this group?

Mr. Old_Jersey,
Having sent several thousands of dollars U.S. to the Pay Pal account and sponsored the booth at the Annapolis Boat Show, only to have the goat not arrive at all to promote this endeavor is highly disheartening. Further upon hearing of sightings of the goat in the metro D.C. area hanging out of the sun roof of a limousine accompanied buy a cadre of other farm animals has lead me to believe that perhaps the goat is not taking his responsibilities and this voyage seriously enough to warrant further support.
Having met all conditions and requirement of his dietary needs to be arranged at the show site we are at a loss on what to do with the three old tennis shoes and the four bales of alpine winter grass imported specifically for this occasion as per you demands.
Please take notice; If the goat does not live up to his obligations of our sponsorship agreement in the future we will have no option but to seek all remedies under the law.
Sincerely,
Burnum Yoass Esq.
