I've got a simple plastic version - available from all good garden centres Cost was in pounds, not tens of. Choice of spray / jet / stop! etc simply by twisting the end.....can't see the need for a gun like solution, seems a bit OTT - but being able to turn the hose off (at the wet end ) is very useful .

The "trick" is to use a Jubilee Clip (to stop nozzle flying off ).
