Hello forum, i am planning to sail for 4 months, starting in april. Still no rute decided yet neither exact dates, but i wanted tonget my adventure started by
posting here an thread to get opinions for two things
1. I need to rent a
monohull, 32 to 39ft, in good conditions and for a great
price. I have not checked yet with big
charter companies for a " long rent" i still wonder if i will get a better deal from someone currently triying to sell a
boat, by
renting it for a couple of months...any thoughts?
2. Initial sailing area will be the carib (windward islands) where i have been sailing the last 3 yrs. Since it is going to be a long sailing period i wanted to open the debate on 3 non obvious things you believe esential to have in the
boat for such a trip.
