I need community
advice: on the
Hallberg Rassy 41, since 1979, I found that the
bronze 40 mm
steering shaft almost broken crack passes between the body and the
steering blade. Question: it is preferable to 1- restore the shaft in a specialized workshop for the
repair of propellers, 2- replace with a new shaft made of
bronze (the brand of bronze that is used is unknown), 3- put a new shaft made of
stainless steel (also the question of
Steel Mark). I will be very grateful for any
advice.
