Hi all,
Here is my experience for checking in with Firearms and a dog in cayman.
First things first you need to make sure you fly your q flag upon getting close to cayman. Then hail "georgetown port
security " they will lead you to the south terminal
dock.
There, all the officials will greet you and give you your paperwork to fill out.
We gave them a list of our declared items and they said they will keep them in the office until we depart.
They seemed more concerned with spear
guns then the firearms honestly. He repeated like 3 times "this is the only Hawaiian sling you have?" I said yeah man!
Also with the dog... You better have the
permit prior to arrival or the dog can't come ashore.
All in all a good experience. Super friendly officials. And caymans are awesome.
Our declared items
-Hawaiian sling
-compound bow
-Shotgun
-Rifle
-Handgun
