Zeus3 chart compass missing

My chart compass symbol has disappeared on my Zeus 3 screen but I can still see it on my Vulcan. Anybody having the same problem or can give a hint to how to get it back.

No it´s not the sail steer overlay it´s chart compass overlay which is enabled from autopilot page in settings.

Ok I understand but if you have Zeus 3 maybe you could help me and check if it works for you.

It does not appear in all display modes.

For example, if you have "Look Ahead" turned on, the compass goes away. I would not be at all surprised if other options affected it.

If you continue to be stumped, I have found B&G tech service to be helpful.

Autopilot system has mandatory chart plotter and optional controller ( control head - which includes programming facility too ) . Any one unit can help to update this system , collectively . Device list selection from your configuration is normally auto select . Manually , we can select or see the equipment's status too . When more than one heading sensor / GPS units are integrated with network ( NMEA ) system - we choose priority among them or to dedicate one equipment for this requirement .

Perhaps , your device was not in device list for auto pilot or selection needs to be checked again . May be , I have not understood your question as well . Without relevant heading indication , symbol appears or without straight line - you have boat's heading ? For my understanding , please .

Page 23 of User manual gives a picture . Do you mean in this detail ?

Page 71 gives the chart compass details with a note that this function will not be available when cursor is active in display . Is this function with " Hide " option ?

It is the chart compass function described on page 71 in Zeus 3 operator manual I mean.
It has worked for four years but suddenly I can´t get it to show up on the screen.
It would be nice if someone operating a Zeus 3 could check if this function works for you.

This is valid for sailsteer overlay not chart compass.

Through chart plotter , select " settings icon " , then " autopilot " & then " chart compass" . Now , we need to opt " show " function instead of " Hide " . This should help to show the details on the top of the screen ! .

If you have selected sync 2D-3D in the chart options you will loose both sailsteer and the autopilot compass on the chart display. I just verified this on my system.
