Will this work ... (SeaTalkNg, N2K combo)

Hello experts!

I’m new to this backbone business. Will my plan work (please see the photograph). I’m trying to save a little on cables and reuse what I have.

Short answer - yes. Seatalk NG is NMEA2000, so (assuming you wire it correctly) this will work fine. BTW, Ray makes the color code/wiring disgram for Seatalk NG available on their Forum: Raymarine forum

yes. do it all the time.

when you cut the stng cable open the colors are the same as the n2k cable.

there may be an extra yellow cable. just ignore it. (I think only the white / black drops have the extra yellow but can't remember.
