wifi booster location

Newbie here. At time of purchase had dealer install Rogue Wave wifi booster. By the time we figured out it wasn't working, warrantee had expired. Inspection found it to be full of water. It was not the Rogue Wave Pro but rather the plastic one which was apparently never intended for extended marine exposure. Replacing it w/the Pro version. Mounting instructions say not near radar, where it is. Dealer said no interference, other than physical line of site perhaps, unless radar is active. Before I mount in same spot - slightly to the side and above radar at first spreader, does anyone have any experience w/these or recommendations? Thanks!

Re: wifi booster location

My Bullitt antenna is a foot higher & 4 ft from 48” open array-works fine. You won’t be using it in situations where your radar is transmitting.
