Was just wondering why, if you went to the expense of mounting a Stabilized Satelite dish, why you couldn't then just subscribe to say a Hughesnet ? They say all you need is clear view of the southern sky... Perhaps you could have
service for some considerable distance from the States. Then perhaps there is some simular
service in
Europe you could switch to when in the
Med? ditto in
Asia? Hughesnet services run about 80 bucks per mth for very high data rates... the dish would cost around US$ 5k... sure would beat the US$ 5k/month rate the
Marine services want... What am I missing??
