Which counterpoise should I do for my new SSB installation?

Hi All!
'Installing the Icom M802 SSB transceiver, tuner, antenna system on my C&C40 and needing to decide which counterpoise (ground plane) setup to use-- hull plate? copper ribbon? or the SeaTechSystem--Steve Bowden's setup, the KISS ground plane? Any advice? Cautions? Concerns? Advantages/Disadvantages?
Recommendations?

Your input is greatly appreciated!

Re: Which counterpoise should I do for my new SSB installation?

C-Lady... for goodness sakes, this subject has been beaten to death repeatedly within the past few months here on cf. In particular, KA4WJA has given detailed analysis of the counterpoise issues. Please have a quick search yourself and don't start this u p all over again.

Oh... in the final analysis, it really doesn't make a hell of a big difference in performance which system you finally choose. The differences in results between the different approaches are not huge.

Thank you Jim--somehow I have missed the recent "rehashing" of this question. I will track it down. And again, thank you.
