Where to buy 3" wide by 3mil copper grounding strap?

Hi all,

finally getting around to installing my IC-M700 SSB, and I'd like to buy a strap to connect my Antenna tuner to the Dynaplate that came with the boat.

Only thing I see is 2" wide thin foils on Amazon and eBay, some of which have been shown to be demonstrably not pure copper.

Anyone know a good source for this strap?

I buy mine from georgia copper. Usually 10 or 20 mill thick

3mil seems a little thin to me. I installed 22mil 23 years ago when it was affordable.

Use 2" or 3 inch wide, 3 mil copper foil, for an RF counterpoise [ground].

Thanks for the links Gord. I had shelved the project until the Fall (actually sailing the boat now... whod'ave thought?!), and had forgotten much of the specs...
