Where can I buy a ICOM M-710 Tuner Connector?

The radio came with a connector kit but it has been moved a few times and the connector didn't make it through the last move. The radio and tuner are mounted in the boat now and I am short one connector to finish the job.

The M-710 has two pigtails coming off the back of the radio, one for power and one for the tuner. I have the four conductor shielded wire run from the AT130 tuner but need the end to plug into the M-710 pigtail.

I called ICOM and they have no idea...they told me to look at Amazon and match it up by picture. This is a very disappointing response. I had expected more from a technical company.

Amazon does sell the four in-line tuner connector but I can't find the 2x2 M710 connector.

The connector on my radio marked up for reference. I need the connector half that plugs into this one.

I know this radio is on the old side but it still is a workhorse and a great radio. At this point, I am hoping to figure out the Molex part number and I'll buy the connector directly from Molex if they still make it.

Alternatively, I will have to cut the pigtail and add a different connector. I'd like to keep it standard though.

On page 15 of my ic-m710 manual in the unpacking section it list "tuner connector (65100000150) and Pins for tuner connector (6510019030)". In my AT-140 manual on page 3 the cable is called OPC-566. Searching under those numbers plus6510000150 turned up a few hits.

Good stuff. Thanks,

I'll call ICOM tomorrow to see if those parts can still be ordered. I was surprised that the Tech support line didn't know about these numbers. It would ideal to know the Molex Part Number.

The service manual also lists the cable as OPC-566, but the part numbers of the plug and pins are not in the parts listing.

I used a four position terminal strip.
