Wanted- Raymarine ST4000+ head
My old AH4000 does not give required voltage to the drive anymore and I'm thinking to replace old head with ST4000+ head and compass. If anyone upgrading their old working st4000+ system and ready to part with it, let me know.
Thank you.

Re: Wanted- Raymarine ST4000+ head
I know of someone here that got, by accident, an ST4000 (maybe´+) that they don't need and can't use. You might email him directly at eanbehr@gmail.com and see exactly what he has.

Re: Wanted- Raymarine ST4000+ head
I have one. Actually, I think I have both an ST4000T/GP and an ST4000T+/GP (the tiller models with compasses less drives). I am not certain if they can be reset for wheel steering - is that needed?

Re: Wanted- Raymarine ST4000+ head
Thank you, Rick. I have sent an e-mail to see if he still has it and what model.
Greg, I'm new to this autohelm as it came with the boat I recently purchased, so I'm not sure if it can be reset. I'll do more research and let you know if it can be done. But I may take one of your compasses... PM me how much you want for it.
Thank you, guys.
Does any one else have ST4000+ laying somewhere and collecting dust?

Greg,
it seems that the control head is the same for wheel and tiller. Drive type is setup in the control head setup. Let me know how much you want for the ST4000+ model?

Yes, I confirm from the manual that it can be reset to wheel.
I have no idea what it is worth. I'll have to think about that. First let me dig it out and take a look at it - it is just a few feet away and not too far beneath a pile of stuff...

OK, got it.
Take a look at these. I have the manual and quick reference card as well.
I showed the pigtail for connection with the old round SeaTalk if needed.

Yep, that's what I need. It's the plus model and it's in working condition, right?
Let me know what you want for the set.

Re: Wanted- Raymarine ST4000+ head
Just noticed on the picture that it is the "plus" model. Is that a crack in the mid lover section of the screen or it's just lighting?

Re: Wanted- Raymarine ST4000+ head
There is a scratch on the face which the flash nicely illuminated.
Both the ST4000 and ST4000+ worked as of the time I removed them from service. I bought the ST4000+ and current SP-X5 because I needed new drives and the total package at discount is only a few hundred more than the replacement drive.
I'll post photos of the ST4000 Friday, and answer the PMs. Busy day.
