I have a "new-to-me" 1979 Morgan Out Island
415 that has an existing (and functioning) Roberston AP200 auto pilot (manual says 1991). Eventually I'm looking to upgrade to a B&G system for all electronics
(MFD, sensors, displays, autopilot
controller) and am curious how much of the autopilot
system I'll need to replace to make this work
. Will the existing rudder
position detector, compass
with the B & G autopilot display/controller or will I need to replace everthing except the ram drive?
FYI: The system is a hydraulic drive.
Thanks in advance.
