TV mount

Hi All,

I'm looking for a wall mount with an articulating arm for a 24" TV. I know there are lots of them available but I'm hoping to find one with either friction adjustments or a locking mechanism to keep it in place while extended.

Thanks for all help.

Re: TV mount

Check Amazon. They have a couple with well designed latches.

Second the Amazon recommendation, I got mine there, mine are just tight enough so that it says where I put them, bolted through the bulkhead with large area washers.

Re: TV mount

I made a wooden Z clip which slips securely over a fiddles on the boat. We have then on all horizontal surfaces including two shelf which are the tops of cabinets on on port and starboard. So we can move the monitor/TV where he want. It's a smart TV so we stream content wireless from a mobile device. The TV is flat and can be stowed under or on a bunk. Cost...nothing. I had the metric threaded bolts to mount the Z clip to the back of the TV.

Re: TV mount

Thanks guys, I appreciate it.

The TV lift is sweet and if I could redesign my saloon to accommodate it, I'd definitely use one.

Re: TV mount

Blaine, This is what I installed to hold mine, it's a bit pricey, but very secure.

Re: TV mount

Red Sky, Thanks. I found the same one shortly after my first post, but it's good to know someone else uses and likes it. I ordered the smaller version today
