Tiller Pilot Track Mode With OpenCPN?

I'm looking at buying an ST1000 for use with a servo rudder steering system. I see the ST1000 has a Track mode that will follow routers with NEMA 183. Has anyone connected their laptop running OpenCPN to a tiller pilot? I already have GPS and AIS coming in on 2 USB ports. This presumably would be a 3rd USB connection. I would need to use a multi-USB port adapter box. Does that present any issues with communication between devices and OpenCPN??
Thanks.. happy sailing
