Thru-hull Transducer Identification

I recently purchased a Ranger 26 sailboat which has what seems to be a high tech transducer on it. I am wondering what type of transducer it is and more importantly what its compatibility is.

Here's what I know...

It's an Airmar transducer... possibly a P79. There are markings on the cable which read C*Blank* C1225 and there is no electronic plug on the end.

A little bit more background information... It was installed a year ago with a full electronic refit of 13K but all of the electronics were pulled out prior to me taking ownership.

Thanks,

YB

Re: Thru-hull Transducer Identification

The cable doesn't Mater. Read the white tag.

It's not a p79.

That's a basic through hull transducer. Or maybe a tri ducer.

Re: Thru-hull Transducer Identification

Grab the part number on the cable and use the Airmar cross reference.
