Starting this thread because this the first time I've found information on how to convert a HP dish to DC.
There hasn't been much information available about converting a HP dish to DC
power. The HP dish using a non-color-standard 22 awg
network cable has made it even more difficult.
A few months ago a couple of posts on Reddit reverse engineered the cable.

One poster confirmed successful conversion with that pinout. I was looking for a more detailed description and ideally more reports of success. No one wants to burn up a $2500 piece of
equipment.
There was a recent post by Oleksandr Zhuchenko of Seewoya about changes to the 120w Yaosheng injector. I looked at Seewoya's webpage and saw that Yaosheng now also makes a 320W injector for the HP dish with the similar functionality (over/under voltage and
current protection, and reverse polarity protection).
More interesting is that Oleksandr has a complete write-up of how to wire the HP cable. This is the first I've seen this anywhere.

I'm waiting until the spring to do this, but I wanted to share since I know I'm not the only one wanting to do this.
