Standard Horizon GS1400 mystery GPS

I just installed this new radio, using the same connection points for the NMEA out (into the radio) from the GPS as I'd used on the prior radio.

I have the little satellite icon in the top right, and my mmsi page shows position matching my chartplotter.

But there's no Lat/Long or time on the GPS display page, or satellite acquisition icons on that page.

What am I missing? I've inputted the GPS particulars to set it up twice...

I believe that is by design. The GPS page is for teh internal GPS (if equipped).

There is none in my model; tech support deemed it defective and I've returned it for inspection/replacement/repair...
