3. You can get a new NASA
Marine NMEA instrument and feed it
nmea data from the chart plotter but make sure the chart plotter translates the data that you need to NMEA (for example,
Raymarine autopilots will output nmea
wind data only if they are fed nmea
wind. If they are fed analog wind data from a Raymarine vane then they will keep it on
Seatalk (stupid vendor lock).
4. Last, you can get a $9 serial/nmea to Bluetooth converter and display the data on your
phone +
OpenCPN.
