ssb receiver says nothing over 13.8 volts?

Hooking up a si-tex nav-fax 200 to my house bank and it dawned on me my floating charge is around 14.6 volts which is way over 13.8!

its got a inline fuze to protect it but is the battery charger going to mess this thing up? hopefully im making a big deal over nothing but id hate to ruin this thing.

help!

Thanks,
Jared

Re: ssb receiver says nothing over 13.8 volts?

Highly unlikely any '12 volt' electronics would be harmed with a float charger at 14.6v In fact, as soon as you turn on any electronics you should see the battery voltage drop. Plus, you will have a small voltage drop to the radio. At the end of the day, your radio will be fine.
