Sounder to Maxsea Problem

Hi,

Tried to get Maxsea v12.1 hooked up with sounder and gps and almost made it.
The gps is connected with com port and working. The sounder Navman 4431 is connected with com port and working, but the strange thing is I get the depth readings into Maxsea and I can see the depth on the screen, but I can´t record it into the bathy generator.
If I bring up the depth profile it says "no transmitting" or similar.
Do I have to take the depth signal from Navnet?
But the PC reads the signal and displays it. Am I missing some detail here?
