By "marine" do you mean semi-flex panels? Yes, they are more expensive. They also tend to be less robust than standard fixed-frame panels (at least that's my perception).

Most marine solar setups I've seen use the standard panels, although semi-flex are popular (and useful) for some applications. No reason you can't use both, depending on how they are mounted.

By “marine” it probably means those sold by suppliers to the marine industry, so is there a difference? Non “marine” panels are available in higher wattage

What are "marine solar panels"?? They're just solar panels larger ones are typically home ones anyway

You can absolutely put home panels on a boat. I've got 2 of them (410 watts each) on mine. In general, small solar panels (often sold for marine, RV, or small off grid use) are more expensive, especially in cost per watt. They don't sell as many of the smaller panels, so the costs are higher, plus the usual usage specific markups.
