Smart Radio SR161 AIS: CPR or Dead?

Hey everyone! Know this is an older AIS receiver. Trying to get by before major electronics up date. Hoping someone can tell me if this unit is dead.

Bought boat 3 years ago and AIS displayed on Garmin 5212. Suddenly stopped working. Found in line fuse fried. Replaced it.

Turn power back on. Manual says green led light will blink at power up. Power on. No LED blink. No output to Garmin. Checked inline fuse. Good.

To me this says the unit has suffered some internal electrical failure. Is it dead? Should I do some other check?
