Simrad NSS9 evo3 and RS20

So I have both these instruments and I am trying to automate the process of making a VHF call to an AIS target. As in, on the AIS screen I want to see the CALL button active, and when I click on it, it sends the MMSI info to the RS20 - so I don't need to manually enter the MMSI number into the VHF.

The button is obstinately staying non-highlighted. Manuals are useless and the local agent I purchased off is not helpful. Can anyone out there help?

This issue was resolved with a software update by Simrad. Now works as advertised. I wonder if my full caps email shouting at them helped....
