simrad NAIS-400 and SIMNET network

Is it possible to configure NAIS-4000 to acquire GPS signal from SIMNET network? I dont want to install external GPS antenna in the device.

Unlike a Class A, the class B AIS rules require an internal GPS in the AIS.

CPS antennas are pretty standardized, and as far as I know they all feed 5 volts DC through the coax cable. I teed my existing GPS antenna into the AIS and it worked.

Just for clarity, Class A requires BOTH the internal GPS, plus a GPS data feed from an external GPS which is supposed to be the boats primary GPS. External is primary and internal is backup. It will still transmit with only one, but will alarm if either is missing.
