Simrad AP21 Spare Parts

Navico / Simrad do not Support the AP21 handheld control unit anymore --- after only about 10 years !! ! They suggested to buy a complete new Autopilot !!!!

They have no spare parts and no new or Exchange Units !!

Anyone knows about where there are still spare parts or complete units around? -- United States or Europe ?

That is the reality of the microprocessor world, how come you're so surprised? I was the last guy within 30 miles of Silicon Valley and Seattle running Windows 3.0 in 1995. I got over it!

Seriously, the only place to find this stuff is eBay and Craigslist.

The the Ebay search for the Simrad AP21, and then "follow this search" to be automatically notified if someone lists one for sale.

The ebay "follow this search" is a good idea. In the meantime, you might try a worldwide inquiry on boatpartsferret.com. As you already know, you can never tell what some of these consignment stores and small shops may have. You can fill out the quick form and one email will go out to many vendors worldwide.

thanks for the suggestions --- tried them all. No success up to now. Still looking for
SIMRAD Ap21 control unit for autopilot (new or used) or the printed circuit board Simrad sold as spare part.
