Si Tex T-760 Radar

I'm considering a standalone Radar setup, like the look of this T-760, but there don't seem to be much in the way of reviews, which might be a good sign. Well nobody seems to be screaming from the rooftops about how bad they might be, so it's possibly a positive.

As the broadband Radars don't seem to be much better in Real World power usage, this does seem as though it might be worth a try.

Any views on the Si Tex or economic alternatives?

I have Si-Tex MDS 10-5 4 kW radar, it works as it should with no problems. My experience with them is they have well made gear that works and during the installation their technical support was excellent.

Thanks RC. I do get the impression their gear is well built.

Perhaps a 'hands on' review (which does seem lacking for the T-760) from a newbie to radar, might prove useful to others on CF.

I'm not ruling out a networked system a few years down the road, but would really like a stand alone system to get fully in the swing of separate elements in the meantime.
