Sending wind data from B&G Hydra 2000 to Raymarine Autohelm

Ciao a tutti. Has anyone experience of connection between B&G Hydra 2000 and Raymarine 7001 pilot (400 course computer) ? I would like to send the wind data from the B&G to Raymarine pilot to enable the "route to the wind" mode on the pilot.

The technician told me there might be problems because sending the wind data via NMEA, the connection speed is too low (once per second)
Thanks to all

I don't think you'll have a problem with the wind data being sent at one/second. I've been feeding Hydra wind data to the AP for years. The real problem is whether you have an NMEA-enabled Hydra display. With the Hydra system, all B&G communications is done over their proprietary network. The conversion necessary to support NMEA 183 is done in the displays, so the AP will end up connected to the display, not to the central computer.

Thanks svinshallah, I've connected Hydra 2000 and Ray pilot via Nmea cable and it seems to work! I'll try this Week End
