I was able to talk with a tech at
B&G. Very helpful. He believes the
software has become corrupted, though he could offer no reason why this would happen.Steps to take:
1) Backup all settings (waypoints, routes, etc.) to a microSD card.
2) Update
software, even if latest version is on the chart plotter.
3) Test. If fails (routes still disappear), then factory reset.
4) Test. If still fails, call back B&G.
I will from now on backup all data on the device whenever I add new data.
