Need to increase the dead band on the Ray...I had a Navico for my old boat, 27' US Yacht and it worked great.

Sorry missed that (was multitasking Green Bay was getting kicked around)...unless some "learning" can be done on sea state the Ray is a backup at best. I would try to return The Ray.
