Raymarine Windvane Mode with T300?

I have a Raymarine S3G course computer (+ fluxgate), ST6002 autopilot control head and ST60+ wind/tridata - which in combination offers windvane mode.

My jetty neighbor has a T300 course computer (+ fluxgate), ST80 control head and ST60+ wind/tridata that doesn't offer windvane mode.

We are wondering what upgrades would be required in order to make windvane mode available in his system - is this a function of the ST6002, the S1/2/3/G course controller, or would he need to upgrade both?

We are talking serious budget constraints here - an actual windvane is not in consideration.
