Raymarine STng connect to old Instruments

Hello,

the new i50 / i60 instruments have also a Seatalk " old " connection via an STng / ST cable.
The questions are the following:

1. Did the new Instrument switches the illumination also on the old ones one and off?

2. Did the new Instruments also deliver the datas to an old ST 60 Multi / Graphik or Repeater Instrument ?

Thank you for answers and many greetings from Germany

Klaus

Re: Raymarine STng connect to old Instruments

Our boat has older ST60+ instrumentation - depth, wind, two graphic SeaTalk1 repeaters, ST8002 autopilot controller and an S3G autopilot corepack/computer. They integrate with our newer e125 and other SeaTalkHS and SeaTalkNG Raymarine gear just fine by using their SeaTalkNG/Seatalk1 adapter.

Illumination works fine, but since I have no newer i50/60 instrumentation, I can't comment on whether illumination levels are properly transmitted across the adapter.
