Raymarine SeaTalkNG to Micro-C adapter cable?

Does Raymarine make an adapter cable from SeaTalkNG to Micro-C connectors, as used by B&G?

I am hoping to put together a hybrid backbone which is part Micro-C and part SeaTalkNG. Since the underlying protocol is NMEA 2000, my understanding is that a simple adapter cable should suffice.

Can anyone please point me to a Raymarine part# for an adapter cable which is SeaTalkNG on one end, and Micro-C on the other? I am somewhat confused by Raymarine's nomenclature.

Yep. They do both male and female. For Simrad gear you need a female end connector. B&G is most likely the same since the hardware is identical.

I made my own. Just cut a Raymarine backbone cable and a Micro-C cable. Then soldered the wires. It has worked flawlessly for about 2 years now.

When I put together my system in 2015, there was not one available. I had to make one. Not hard, just use the continuity function on your voltage meter.

Be careful on what you order. There are Seatalkng to Nema200 spur cables available from Raymarine. However, my understanding is that the seatalkng spur cable is different than the Seatalkng backbone cable. I have not found a backbone adapter anywhere. You have to make your own if you are connecting Ng backbone to NMEA 2000 backbone. Raymarine does not make one. Raymarine is abandoning the Ng network and going with straight NMEA 2000 connections.

Not a big deal. Just attach a micro c adapter to an Ng backbone cable. Then connect the two backbones.
