Do you mean speed over ground? What is cruising speed?

The E-120 has a databar that may be positioned on the top or on the side, using the MENU pushbutton and the Databar Setup selection. My preference is the Large databar instead of the Normal size databar.

The VESSEL datagroup has Speed and SOG data available. I think the Speed is from the paddle wheel and SOG is from the GPS.

Yes. Are you connected to SeatalkNG or NMEA2000? You should be able to toggle between "boat speed" (from your paddle wheel) and SOG, which is from the GPS, either the internal or one of the others if you have external GPS.

You need to learn how to set up your data bars. Here is the portion of the manual for data bar set up on the E120 Classic. The whole manual is too big to attach to this post.

Go to:https://flir.app.box.com/s/xawl2aq1d5zea1gtp6dk for the whole manual

Good Luck
