Radar Dome and Computer Connections - What Works ?

We run all our nav charts etc on our computer using MaxSea and would love to add a radar to the setup with overlay to help out with some of the islands where we make our humanitarian deliveries that are often miles from where the charts say they are. Now the problem is which domes will allow this and how the %$#$@^ do I make it work? We have pretty modest budgets so I have to invent and in general be a typical boater about this. Any help or advice will be appreciated.

Maxsea used to have a radar interface. Not sure now since they are part owned by furuno. I think you need a NAVNET 3D system.

I stand to be corrected on this.
