Programming "Email" Frequencies in M802

Maddeningly, I can't figure out how to change the set of frequencies I have programmed in my M802 for Pactor/Winlink connections. It's been some years since I put the original bunch of them in and for the life of me I can't remember how I did it. There is nothing -- zip -- nada -- in the manual about it. Any tips grealy appreciated!!

You should not have to 'program' the frequencies into the radio....

The Sailmail software in your computer should be controlling the radio frequencies .....

Thats what happens with both my 710 and my 706Mk2G with a rising 20 year old Pactor modem ....connected to an assortment of computers from Macbooks to PCs ( with operating systems up to W7)

Re: Programming "Email" Frequencies in M802

Thanks! I don't know what's wrong with my memory. I'm using Winlink Express this time and although it opens a session and triggers transmit just fine, it doesn't seem to be taking contol of the radio. Now I remember that the radio would say "Remote" on it. I'll check the cables.

I guess we just didn't use the "email" button, which I guess is not programmable.

I know you are looking at both Winlink and Sailmail. I use Winlink with a Signalink sound card, and this is what I do. Open RMS Express, select Vara HF Winlink (you'll probably select Pactor Winlink), click Open Session, click Channel Selection, then click Update Table by Internet.

On edit... Oops, I thought you problem was an old frequency list.
