Their website (https://www.polarnavy.com) now just states:


Polar Navy is closing down on December 31, 2019.


Can't renew your account anymore so therefore can't download up to date charts.


Guess this will spur me to get going with OpenCPN, but will miss PolarView, it was very simple and straightforward and played reasonably well with the charts I purchased for the Canadian Gulf Islands and for the British Virgins and French Polynesia.

Will miss it also. Have used it for years with excellent results. Maybe some support groups will keep it going? Can dream...
