Plumbers Copper Strapping

Would Plumbers copper Hangar strapping work for connecting toe rail counterpoise to the auto tuner (available at Home Depot)the stuff with all the holes drilled in it

That material is usually pretty narrow, and I'll leave the discussion of the holes effect on grounding to someone with more of a tecnical basis for having a valid opinion.

But if you are at Home Depot anyway, take a look at copper roof flashing. Heavy weight, available in long lengths, easily cut with tin snips, a lot cheaper than any similar source of copper from electronic or marine suppliers. If it's too wide, you can just roll it up tight and cut the whole roll to width in one go with a hacksaw.

I just am using the strapping to connect the port to the starboard toerails at the bow approx 3' and from the toerail to the tuner about 7 feet it is not the actual counterpoise though it would probably make great radials being flat and stiff it could easily slip between the cabin roof lining and cabin top.
