Open up Icom 801-e

I have an Icom 801-e and would like to open it up to the Ham bands (I am now qualified to do so from land M6GPF).

I have purchased the computer software but this has an edit lock on opening up the Ham bands.

I note on this forum there is a tip to press down the 2, Mode, and TX buttons - and then switch on the power - but that has not worked for me

Any help appreciated.

Run the program from a command prompt window and add the expert switch...i.e. for the M802 software, we run; cs-m802.exe /expert
