older ACR AIS stopped working on new PC

I bought a boat with a ACR AIS in it. I installed a Dell SFF Opticom 780 Desktop PC using the existing Viewsonic 12V Monitor. The AIS worked! The Dell desktop went bad and I replaced it with same model and a new 120V AC ACER monitor using same ports on the DELL box. DO I need a new Driver for the old AIS? It worked before with the DELL box. I have zero paper info on the ACR AIS. It is also kind of buried in a nest of wires. HELP! Thanks.

what is the ACR model -- we have one of the first that came out and we are having trouble with it on windows 10 -- the problem is windows

The AIS, if it functions, will be fine. The early ACR ones just had NMEA out, so for a PC to talk to it it normally needed a USB to serial converter, unless your PC had a built in serial port? If it has a usb connection, it will need a driver for the converter.
