Old Raytheon instruments - any value?

I replaced my electronics and have a Raytheon RL70 plotter and a ST4000+ Autopilot control head. Both still work. Is there any value in these? I hate to toss something that still works

Seriously though: take a look on eBay to establish their market value. There are many of both those units there.

We sold all of our units on ebay. I knew they worked, but offered a money back guarantee (I marked them and told the buyers they were marked...). Got none back. And we got about 60% of the cost of our new electronics. Crazy...

Yes, the market value of these old units is actually going up. Driven I think by folks like me who still have a complete set of them installed, which work fine, and dont want to replace all their electronics.

Re: Old Raytheon instruments - any value?

The 4000+ control head is NLA from Raymarine and the autopilot is dead without it. Sold a spare one I had for $250 a few years back and had a lot of people who wanted it. Probably worth even more now.
