Noise from GPS antenna

Ok, here is An odd one. I have setup a GPS antenna and the wire runs parallel to the vhf antenna wire, and another GPS antenna on an n2k wire.

Today on our passage I noticed this high pitched whining(it wasn't the crew this time) coming directly from the gos GPS bulb. It would change pitch as the boat pitched back and forth. At the same time, finnistere traffic control was trying to track down a boat that was emitting on channel 16 nonstop. Even unplugging the antenna, the noise continued. I shut down all electronics at one point just to confirm it wasn't interference from something like the autopilot supply wires.

I believe that as the boat pitched, what I was hearing through the gps puck was a sort of Doppler effect from the vhf radio. Thankfully it is gone now, but I'm curious if anyone had experienced something like that before? Is this gps puck actually just a pos?(it is the antenna that came with an em-track ais transponder)
