NAVSTAR gps

Hello everyone! I have an old navstar gps system and don’t know if it works or not. My question is could I use its antenna to integrate into a raspberry pi to use with open cpn? I also have a Ssb radio I would like to use, I have heard you can use it to receive grib files for weather routing? Thank you!
