Navman Nothrstar 4380 wire question ?

We have a Navman 4380 fish finder that we got secondhand but in excellent condition, it did not have a transducer, no problem as we have one from an older navman. But, the transdcucer has an AV/RCA type plug and the cable from the navman has a LT8 connector. Other than paying $70 for an adaptor, if I strip the wire from the transducer, what pins on the LT8 connector should I target to get the connection through to the fishfinder ?
