Hello all, I have just stripped some drive gears in the above autopilot. Does anyone out their have one they no longer use so I could get some of the parts.

Hello Minor,

I didn't find any parts and had trouble getting replacement gears made so I bought a new Raymarine Wheelpilot.

I didn't keep any of the old bits, sorry.

Hi Steve,
How do you find the Raymarine Wheelpilot. I'm seriously considering installing one on a 34' sloop and would really like your honest opinion. Thanks.

Hi Mark,

I found it really easy to install, wire up and configure.

Mine is on a 32 foot sloop and it works great. No external belt getting in the way, as with the old Navico. It maintains course well with limited work and the auto tack function is ver helpful especially when solo, which I do a lot of lately.

I would recommend it to anyone, with consideration to the size of the vessel.
