My punishment.. A quest to connect Raymarine Axiom Pro MFD and Airmar P319 depth

Hello Forum! I have been upgrading my Raymarine nav suite due to a lightning strike here in Grenada. Besides waiting for new gear to clear customs it has gone pretty well. I upgraded my MFD from an E97 to a Axiom RVX chartplotter. It all worked well until I grabbed my interface cable to connect my depth Axiom P319 sensor to my realvision sonar port on the MFD. I had already checked the connectors and they were compatable so I assumed the Axiom would detect the sensor and off we would go. However no joy... I ended up contacting Raymarine helpdesk and they informed me I need a junction box, A80644 to connect the P319 to the Axiom. The interface cable I bought A80488 will not work. So I went looking for the junction box. They are pretty hard to find but perhaps available for about $500. The box is just a terminal strip set up to wire the sensor to the Axiom 25pin realvision sonar connector as required. I have terminal blocks but I dont have a wiring diagram. An instruction sheet comes with the A80644 but I can find it on the web. Does anyone have experience with this problem, perhaps an instruction sheet? I really only need to connect 3 wires to the Axiom, Sensor +, Sensor - and Shield.. Any hints will help me on my quest.

You can read the connection right of the junction box in this picture. Noting that it is "straight through" color for color, I really doubt that this is your issue. I will no longer use Raymarine because the support is horrendous. The best support will be from Facebook.

Yes, I see the simple junction box wiring but it doesn't cover the wire colors on the Axiom side of the cable. When I pulled back the insulation it appears that red and black are sensor connections this seems to be the proper connection 7 pin (one unused) Airmar connector yet it doesn't seem to work with the Axiom RVX. The sensor + and - pins are 1 & 7 in the Airmar schematic.
