MV GPS to S3 computer through NMEA 0183

Need some help please .

I brought a MV gps which I was told I could connect to the NMEA connection on my S3 Raymarine computer and the seatalk would see it.
Which isn't what's happening ,
The Raymarine speed see the SOG when turned on but as soon as I turn on the chart plotter (c70) both the speed display and the plotter shows --- . For SOG ,
Plotter display a lat and long , I guess there a conflict some where one talker two lister,
How can I get over this ?
the seller basically said they didn't know what the problem is and to send it back but as we aboard it cost almost as much to send back .

Re: MV GPS to S3 computer through NMEA 0183

why didn't you connect it into the c70 nmea183 port?

is this the only gps now? the old 120 / 125 is being replaced by this unit?

This was the way they suggested do the seatalk would see it , plus if connect to plotter other equipment would only see it if the plotter was turned on .
