Marine equipment deals.
After sailing 7 years in the Caribbean our boat needs a lot of repairs and replacement parts
Pumps, electronic, hardwares batteries,solar etc.
We are now in south florida but we are foreigners and do not know the market.
The only place we went is west marine but they seemed very expensive and unprofessionals for our needs.
Are they physical or online shops for used or bargains in marine equipment.
You will say to look in the web but they are so many weird offers that I get lost.
I guess that it is forbidden to recommend or advertise in the forum but if you could send me a private message I will appreciate

No decent sellers of used equipment that i know of besides ebay and CraigsList. However, some retailers like HodgesMarine, TheGPSstore, Defender and BoeMarine are probably as inexpensive as you can find outside of brand specific sales.

Keep in mind, most brands have yearly sales where they offer decent discounts and they may be worth waiting for. You can always contact one of the retailers and ask when the sales may happen.

Hello, I live in South Florida. I can recommend Boat Owners Warehouse or Sailorman, both in Fort Lauderdale. I try not to buy anything from West Marine if at all possible. I have heard good things about Sailing Services in Miami, but I have no personal experience with them. There lots of other marine businesses just south of State Road 84 near the Fort Lauderdale airport. Message me if you want to. Good luck.

There is a place in Kemah, Texas called something like Boaters Resale of TX. They do maintain a FleaBay presence and have a store. They have a lot of stuff and seem to get a steady supply of new stuff. Not exactly your backyard but with shipping what it is, shouldn't be a problem.
What do you need? I'm getting a pile together to run over to the Kemah place and know a couple of folks here who have accumulated a lot of stuff.

+ 1 for sailor man. Good shop boaters resale in kemah tx is about 1/10 their size
